17 months on from Brads retirement fight he is putting the gloves back on and has signed a multi-fight deal with ACB that starts at ACB 91 in London, Aug. 11

I’m delighted and excited to sign with ACB,” Pickett said in a press release. “They’re a great organization doing exciting things within the sport. I retired as I had fell out of love with the sport. My health and body are great, and coaching the fighters at the gym has given me a desire to return.”

The last we saw Pickett was in London where after his defeat he left his signature hat on the octagon, symbolising the end of his career but with some of the fighters ACB has on their roster, it seems Picket is out to have some fun and not necessarily climb the ladder again.

“I wanted to fight Takeya Mizugaki a few times in the UFC but it never materialized. He’s with ACB too so it seems like a good time to do it. He’s an older guy as well so I think it’s more on my playing field. I don’t need to fight some young kid. I don’t have a point to prove, I just want to be involved in a really good fight.”
