Max Holloway Out of UFC 223 Pettis and Al Iaquinta targeted as replacements
With word coming out that Max Holloway has been pulled from UFC 223 having been deemed medically unfit to compete, Anthony Pettis and Al Iaquinta are being targeted as replacements

In a joint effort between the NYSAC and UFC doctors, Holloways weight cut was stopped, Holloway wanted to continue the cut and weigh in but the decision was made.
With Holloway now off the card, Anthony Pettis who was set to fight Michael Chiesa but was pulled due to injuries sustained from the Chaos Conor McGregor and his crew caused backstage is being rumoured to step in.
Al Iaquinta’s management has also shown interest but Pettis seems to be the number one pick at the moment.
