Paige VanZant vs. Joanne Calderwood set for UFC Vegas Dec. 10

Some main event news for the UFC Vegas card on Dec. 10, Paige VanZant vs. Joanne Calderwood has been announced and what a great fight it is against two of the top ranked strawweights.

Calderwood overcame an early barrage of strikes at UFC Glasgow from late entry opponent Cortney Casey, winning an exciting decision.

VanZant recently won via 3rd round submission, defeating the heavy underdog, Alex chambers. Some may have questioned the fight due to the 1/20 odds on VanZant but hey it’s MMA, anything can happening right?

The winner of this fight most probably will be 1 or 2 fights away from a title shot, so as much as it is an exciting fight it is also a look at what the future holds for the division.
