UFC London: Co-Main Event announced as Gegard Mousasi Vs Thales Leites

As expected the co-main event has been officially announced for the UFC’s return to London,  ‪‬ Gegard Mousasi will take on Thales Leites.
Number 9 ranked fighter Mousasi had an unexpected loss to late opponent Uriah Hall in September, getting finished by a flying knee and follow up of strikes.

Number 10 ranked Leites lost a split decision to Michael Bisping in Glasgow back in July. the loss to Bisping put an end to the 8 fight win streak Leites had manged to stack up.

A win over Mousasi put’s him right back into the hunt with the top 10 guy’s and puts Mousasi in a precarious position.

A win for Mousasi could potentially get the winner of Silva/Bisping depending on what the UFC have planned but guaranteed the winner of the main event will be calling out for a title shot. Bisping has been campaigning for one for years just never quite getting there and Silva had said he wants to get back to the top and reclaim the title.
