UFC announces return to London in early 2017

Today the UFC announced their return to London, England

“After months of speculation, UFC® today announced its much anticipated return to London, England. The event will take place at The O2 in London on Saturday, March 18, 2017.”

Having Anderson Silva fight in the UK was a big deal for the UK market especially against a fighter as popular as Michael Bisping.

“Following a hugely successful event in February 2016 – UFC FIGHT NIGHT®: SILVA vs. BISPING, which sold out in just 27 minutes – the organisation has confirmed that it will return to the English capital for a second consecutive year.”

This event marks the beginning of the UFC’s 2017 European campaign.

“UFC FIGHT NIGHT® LONDON will kick start the organisation’s 2017 European events calendar, with more events set to be announced in the coming months.”

Tickets for UFC® FIGHT NIGHT LONDON will go on general sale on Friday, January 27 via AXS and Ticketmaster. Fight Club members will get the opportunity to purchase their tickets early on Wednesday, January 25 at 10:00 a.m. and UFC newsletter subscribers on Thursday, January 26 at 10:00 a.m.
