Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor seemingly confrimed for August 26th

News is coming in from Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports that big progress may have been made in the Mayweather vs. McGregor super fight.

Even though this fight is a crossover between two sports and one some people think shouldn’t happen it has still been one of the most talked about fights of all time yet it hasten even happened. It seems that every other day a new bit of news come out about, will they or won’t they? After countless months it seems that it may actually go ahead and in August 2017.

According to UFC president Dana White, the fight will be at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and will be contested at 154 pounds. It will be a standard, 12-round boxing match with 10-ounce gloves. The Nevada Athletic Commission on Wednesday approved the request from Mayweather Promotions to put on a boxing card on Aug. 26 at the MGM Grand. The venue could change, however, to T-Mobile.
