Nicolas Dalby vs. Darren Till
Round 1- Dalby comes out fast throwing some high leg kicks to starts, Till closes the distance trying to utilize the clinch. Dalby gets a bit of distance then closes it landing a strong leg kick, Dalby grabs Till and rushes him, taking him to the cage, he works for the takedown but is unsuccessful , both separate and take the centre of the Octagon. Dalby gets a holds of Till again, going for the fence but again doesn’t do much, Till is using his muay thai very well, great stance, distance and harsh leg kicks. Dalby is having a hard time getting passed Till’s shots, the signal for 10 seconds clatters out and Till catches Dalby with a great left hand, dropping Dalby but he survives due to the round ending.
Round 2- Dalby comes out and starts throwing shots but just can’t seem to get passed Till’s defense, Till get’s the clinch lands a knee just as Dalby escapes. Till throws another lovey left uppercut that just misses Dalby, Till rushes Dalby and gets him against the cage but doesn’t get get much done, both fighters separate and get back to the middle. Till lands a great led leg high kick to the head of Dalby but he walks through it and actually gets Till to the ground but till looking fresh gets straight back up with Dalby rushing him to the cage. Dalby works against the cage landing some knees and working hand control, Till escapes, gets back to the centre and just oozes confidence. the bell rings with Till catching a kick from Dalby.
Round 3- All or nothing for Dalby, he is down two rounds and he comes out strong, catching Till and chasing after him, Till on the back foot gets the clinch and uses it to control Dalby, slow him down and get back in control. Dalby gets Till against the cage and takes him down but Till gets back up. Dalby catches Till with a headkick and engages with some great shots, Dalby is looking confident and is trying to finish Till. For the first time in the fight Till is looking to be in serious trouble, Dalby gets Till down, gets mount and starts to rain down punches, Till turns and Dalby gets the back. Dalby is working hard but leaves some space that allows Till to get back to his feet. Daly rushes Till against the cage once again getting a takedown, Till gets back up but Dalby lands some knees on the way up, Dalby keeps the pressure on and is looking great this round, the fight keeps up a fast pace right to the final bell.
Great fight that the judges see as a draw, fights like that you never want to see anyone lose, definite fight of the night contender right there.
