Michael Bisping vs. Thales Leites
Round 1
Leites takes the centre and quickly lands a groin shot to Bisping, once the action starts back up Bisping lands some nice shots on Leites and catches him with a head kick that Leites powers through. Leites tries to tie Bisping up when he gets close but Mike’s having none of it and gets out quickly and and gets back to business, the two fighters lock in and Bisping powers Leites to the ground landing. A nice elbow when it hits the canvas. Towards them of the round Leites improves position and tries to take Bisping’s back against the cage.

Round 2
Leites seems keen early in the second, throwing some hard shots at Bisping but Bisping just gives what he takes and lands some hard shots of his own. Leites does a good job at making Bisping go where he wants, keeping in the centre and stalking Bisping, The two fighters keep active for the entire round, both trading shots with Leites looking good early and Bisping coming back towards the end of the round.

Round 3
Quickly into the third Leites sends Bisping into the cage where the two lock up, once the short grappling exchange is over both fighters return to the centre of the octagon with each having blood on their faces. Bisping throws a left but Leites catches him with a great low kick. Both fighters swinging for the fences, you have to think that any one of these shots could send someone to the Mat if it lands clean.  Out of nowhere Leites gets a takedown but Bisping quickly pushes away and gets back to his feet, the fight continues on the feet, towards the cage, Leites puts out a combo and catches Bisping on the way down with a great uppercut, if Leites wasn’t in front of him, it could’ve easily sent him to the canvas. Both fighters stay locked till the bell.

Round 4
Leites out quick swing like there’s no tomorrow, Bisping composes himself and and gets out of the way cleanly, Leites continues to control the fight, catching Bisping against the cage but he ducks, covers and circles out back to the centre. Leites attempts a takedown but Bisping stuffs it and the two fighters continue to exchange blows in the centre, the round ends with both fighters catching each other with head kick that don’t seem to do any real damage.

Round 5
Considering this is round 5 both fighters still look fresh, a nice exchange against the cage sends sweat flying everywhere, this is all or nothing for both fighters as the score has to be extremely close. More exchanges against the cage this time with Bisping getting the better of it, Bisping lands a great combo that Leites shakes off but he comes back straight away with another that this time seems to affect Leites. Late in the third Bisping seems to be getting the upper hand, the round ends with Bisping landing a clean spin kick.

Evan Dunham v Ross Pearson

Round 1

They touch gloves and Pearson looks to control the middle of the octagon. A head kick attempt from Dunham fails to connect and Pearson continues to stalk Dunham around the cage. Pearson looking to get inside the reach of Dunham. Pearson launches forwards and connects with a right cross. Dunham shoots and lands the takedown.

Pearson gets back to his feet but Dunham has his back. Some knees and Dunham lands a good takedown immediately transitioning to Pearson’s back looking for a rear naked choke. Dunham has a good body triangle on Pearson. Pearson defending the choke well. Dunham controlling Pearson’s hands trying to set up the choke. Dunham lets Pearson up a little but only to get a better grip on Pearson’s back. A minute left in the round and Dunham is controlling the fight, he transitions beautifully to an armbar and somehow Pearson escapes from a real armbar attempt. They’re standing again and Pearson goes back to business on the front foot. Pearson lands a good right hook and the horn sounds.
Round 2

Pearson into the centre of the octagon again and is looking to use his footwork to get inside the reach of Dunham. Dunham shoots and lands a good takedown in the middle of the cage. Dunham in Pearson’s half guard. Dunham postures for a guillotine but lets go. Dunham now in Pearson’s full guard landing some good shots. Pearson gets to his feet but gives up his back in the process. Dunham looking for a suplex but couldn’t quite manage it. Pearson is on all fours whilst Dunham knees and takes control of his back. Dunham drags Pearson to the ground and has control of Pearson’s back. A solid body triangle by Dunham again and Pearson tries to escape but it’s not happening. Pearson doing everything right to survive but not doesn’t have any answer for the solid grappling of Dunham.

A minute left in the round and Dunham has Pearson’s back looking to lock in a rear naked choke. Dunham looking for an armbar from this position and the horn goes for the end of the second round.
Round 3

Pearson again in the centre of the cage looking to use his footwork but it isn’t really happening. Dunham is content at range. Two takedown attempts stuffed by Pearson which will give him heart. Pearson opting to wind up his right hand now more in hope than anything else resulting in Dunham once again engaging a clinch and looking for a takedown. Pearson doing well to stop the takedown attempt from Dunham against the cage. But time is slipping away from Pearson with 2 minutes left in the third and final round.

Dunham engages the clinch and lands some shots whilst Pearson is up against the cage. Pearson trying to land knees and spin away from the cage but the grappling from Dunham is too strong. A minute left and Dunham has Pearson against the cage. Pearson has no answer for the grappling of Dunham. Pearson engages the clinch and lands a good elbow then a knee. A shimmer of hope perhaps but Dunham grinds on and once again has Pearson up against the cage and lands a takedown right at the horn.
All three judges score this fight in favour of Evan Dunham

Ivan Jorge v Joe Duffy

Round 1
Duffy pushing the action fast getting things going. Duffy keep his chin tucked in well. Nice elbow in the clinch from Duffy and Jorge forces Duffy back against the cage. A hard body kick hurts Jorge and Duffy follows up some hard shots. Jorge again forces Duffy back against the cage. Some knees from Jorge but not a lot of anything else. Duffy breaks free and lands a hard kick to Jorges body. Some shots land flush for Jorge but the fight eventually goes to the ground where Duffy locks in a triangle choke forcing the tap from Jorge.

Duffy wins via triangle choke at 3 minutes 5 seconds in the first round.

Joanne Calderwood vs. Cortney Casey

Round 1

Both fighters out and Joanne throws some strikes but Casey hits back with some great shots that stuns Joanne sending her into defensive mode, backstepping but trying to recover and engage, Joanne manages to get a bit of air and get’s in the clinch with Casey, Joanne looked to be in real trouble at the beginning. Both fighters grapple on the cage before it goes to the ground with Joanne powering through to get top position on Casey, Joanne works from Casey’s guard landing some good shots but Casey is trying to work from her back. Casey goes for a leg lock but Joanne defends and with both fighters locked up they dish out shots to each other while on the Matt. The round ends with Joanne on top trying to score vital points.

Round 2

Both fighters come out to a roar from the crowd, Joanne and Casey keep the energy up trading shots before Joanne goes in for a takedown, Casey still on her feet but hunched over takes some nice knees to the face from Joanne. The fight continues back on the feet with Joanne landing a nice double body head combo, joanne has landed some great elbows this round with her Muay Thai shining. Both fighters battle out against the cage with both fighters landing clean shots until the bell.

Round 3

Joanne comes out and takes the centre of the octagon immediately backing Casey up against the cage, both fighters get into another flurry of exchanges with Joanne looking like she is landing the better shots, Joanne is using her distance well keeping Casey at bay. Joanne continues to work Casey against the cage dropping her with a spin kick, swarming in. Casey manages to stay in there and the pair end up back on their feet, Casey seems to be in defence mode now as she is hitting the mat way too easy. Joanne is having none of it, calling for her to get up, at the end of the third the fight goes to the Matt with Joanne delivering blows until the bell.

Leonardo Mafra  vs. Stevie Ray

Round 1

Stevie Ray walks out to a deafening roar from the crowd. A High kick from Stevie to start the fight, defended by Mafra, both fighters feeling each other out trying to judge the distance, light exchanges back and forth with Ray landing a nice shot but Mafra takes it well. Back into the centre and they continue to feel each other out until Ray lands and lovely left hook that send Mafra crashing to the cage, Mafra out on his feet tries to defend and ends up flinging bombs back at Stevie. Both fighters engage in a slugfest that could send anyone to the canvas, with Mafra out on his feet, in survival mode he just keep swinging. Ray judges the distance of the punches well and launches another attack sending Mafra to the mat where he swarms him landing a few more blows before the referee jumps straight in to stop the fight.

Stevie Ray wins via TKO @ 2:30 of first round ($50,000 performance bonus)

Vaughan Lee vs Paddy Holohan

Round 1

Paddy takes the centre and both feell each other out with some early kicks. Holohan pushing forward and controlling the centre, paddy looks for a takedown and after a bit of a scramble Lee ends up on top inside Holohan’s guard. Holohan looking for a triangle and looks to have it locked in but Lee is doing all the right things to defend this triangle attempt. Holohan landing shots from the bottom trying to lock in this triangle but can’t control Lees left arm enough to sink it in deep enough. Holohan takes control of Lees right left whilst maintaining this triangle attempt and looks to finally sink in this triangle. Lee responds with some shots ands and escapes to immediately take Holohan’s back and has a good shout at a rear naked choke here. The horn saves Holohan.
Round 2

Leg kick early from Lee. Knee attempt from Holohan closing the distance to clinch against the cage. Lee looking to knee and escape. Holohan rolls and takes hold of Lee’s leg always looking for the sub. A scramble and Lee is in top position inside Holohan’s half guard. Lee moves to mount and starts to unload however Holohan reverses and looks to sink in a heel hook from mount. Holohan’s flexibility on show there escaping the full mount of Lee.

Holohan is looking to mount Lee however opts for side control. Holohan thinking about an Americana and offloads some good elbows at the same time. Holohan posturing up now and offloading a few decent shots on Lee. Holohan on top with a minute left in the round and looking for an armbar. Lee has 20 seconds left to survive this attempt but manages to roll out and stand with an armbar still kind of locked in. Lee escapes and drops some hard shots on Holohan at the sound of the horn.
Round 3

At the start of round 3 Holohan is looking fresh and bouncing about. Lee is putting a lot into his punches and looking for the KO finish probably well aware that he is behind on the score cards. Lee takes a low kick square on the groin and earns a few minutes rest for his troubles. Holohan is obviously advised accordingly.

Lee is taking a long time to recover from the low blow. Crowd are getting restless.

And they’re back. Holohan getting straight back to work and both fighters engage in a bit of boxing. Holohan the more active fighter with kicks. Lee is having a hard time getting inside the range of Holohan. Holohan using the front kick to Lee’s gut a la Conor McGregor to good effect. Holohan switching stances and forcing lee against the cage but Lee responds with a good straight left. Holohan back to keeping Lee at range now using his jab and kicks effectively. Lee swinging for a big body punch but hits air. Some spinning heel kicks from Holohan to keep Lee on his toes bit both are ineffective. Holohan using his range to good effect and Lee can’t really respond. Holohan is looking the fresher of the two and is still keeping Lee at range. Lee lands a nice straight left of his own. Holohan lands a takedown and lands some hard shots at the sound of the horn.
All three judges score this fight 30-27 in favour of Paddy Holohan.

Ilir Latifi v Hans Stringer

Round 1

Latifi comes out and lands a great uppercut early in the first, stringer takes it well but it’s not long before Latifi lands another bomb that sends Stringer to the mat where Latifi follows up with two clean shots before the referee jumps in to stop it.

Teemu Packalen vs. Mickael Lebout

Round 1

Fighters touch gloves and we’re on. Early take down attempt from Packalen. Lebout forces him against the cage and has underhooks. Boo’s from the crowd expecting another first round ko. Take down from Lebout and Packalen quickly pulls half guard and is then mounted by Lebout.

Packalen establishes half guard but is being smothered on the ground by Lebout. Packalen goes for a triangle and is looking active in his submission attempt.

Packalen tries to roll out of Lebouts control but almost gives up his back in doing so. Lebout stands and jump back on trying to establish top control yet again.

Lebout still in control on top with Packalen looking for get his long legs into play for a submission attempt. Pack is willing to give up his back to escape Lebout control and ends up rolling Lebout onto his and taking mount. Packalen unleashing some good elbows and the crowd show their appreciation.

 

Round 2

Lebout takes the centre of the octagon and shoots on Packalen who sprawls well. Lebout stands leaving Packalen on his back. Packalen stands much to the crowds pleasure. Packalen shoots and its stuffed by Lebout who peppers him with kicks whilst he bum scoots towards him. Crowd getting behind Lebout kicking Packalen whilst he’s on the canvas.

Packalen stands and its more of the same with Lebout taking the centre and showing the more effective jab landing crisp one twos and body shots. Lebout’s jab is connecting well but a good straight right from Pack makes Lebout think. Pack shoots again and is easily stuffed. Lebout tries to drive a knee into the shoulder/head of Packalen and the Ref calls for a time out. Appears to be a shot to the back of the head which has called a halt to the action. Ref has stood them back up and they are back to boxing. Good overhand right from Lebout but Packalen responds in kind . A take down from Packalen and Lebout looks for a heel hook and transitions to mount. Packalen regains some control and they both stand as the horn sounds for the end of the second.

 

Round 3

Both fighters landing clean shots on each other but Lebout takes hold and pressures Pack against the cage. Pack gives up his back looking for a standing arm lock but is forced to the canvas. The ref stands him up as Lebout winds up kicks. Both fighters are landing punches with Lebout controlling the centre and pushing forward. Packalen shoots and is easily stuffed again. Lebout looking to maintain control and ref stands them up again and Packalen looks for a massive overhand right and follows it up with a left. Packalen shoots again. And Lebout easily stuffs again. Pack stands up and they are back to boxing. Pack shoots and is successful moving into Lebouts half guard. Pack attempts to mount and gains side control. Lebout escapes and gets to his feet. Nice combinations from both but neither at this stage of the fight have enough power. The fight goes to the mat and Packalen goes for a Peruvian necktie but is nowhere near getting it.

Judges agree and score it 29-28 29-28 and 30-27 all in favour of Mickael Lebout.

Paul Redmond vs. Robert Whiteford

Round 1

Touch of gloves to start and both fighters are out and working on their range to start. Whiteford lands some good shots but they don’t seem to phase Redmond, back and forward with Whiteford landing more good shots. Redmond stays in their using kicks and landing shots of his own. Whiteford gets backed against the cage but a good duck and counter gets his back off of it, both fighters exchange and in the centre Whiteford catches Redmond and down goes Redmond. Whiteford swarms him landing punches until the referee jumps in to stop it.

Robert Whiteford wins by TKO in Round 1

Marcus Brimage  vs. Jimmie Rivera
Brimage out quick using the jab to test Rivera, both fighters utilising fast combinations. Brimage looks to be the more active fighter early on until Rivera catches Brimage, Rivera follows it up with another shot sending Brimage to the canvas against the cage where the referee stops the fight…some would say prematurely.

Chris de la Rocha  vs. Daniel Omielanczuk

Omielanczuk out fast landing bombs, Rocha can’t get away, both swinging for the heavens. Rocha doing everything he can to counter and get away from Omielanczuk’s barrage but is unsuccessful with Omielanczuk taking out Rocha early in the first.
